About the Artist:
Mordechai (Moti) Penn is an esteemed Israeli painter and art educator born in Petah Tikva in 1938. He pursued his academic art training at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design between 1959 and 1963, later moving to London for advanced higher education in art. Upon his return to Israel, Penn dedicated his life to both creating innovative modernist artwork and teaching generations of young Israeli artists. His works are known for blending precise geometric constraints with loose, emotional color expressions.
