This map is based on the astronomical principles of Francesco Brunacci (1640–1703), and presents the celestial globe in two polar projections – northern ("Artico") and southern ("Antartico"). It features beautifully illustrated mythological constellations, the sun, moon, and classical planets, with a detailed explanatory text in Italian below.
