About the Artist:
Jacob Malka was born in 1941 in Casablanca, Morocco, and later immigrated to Israel. He studied at the prestigious Beaux-Arts (Buzar) in Paris and furthered his training in graphic arts in New York in 1971. A student of the iconic Israeli artists Marcel Janco and Avigdor Steimatzky, Malka developed a distinctive style that bridges European tradition with Israeli modernism.

על האמן:
יעקב מלכה נולד ב-1941 בקזבלנקה, מרוקו, ועלה לישראל. הוא השתלם באקדמיית ה"בוזאר" היוקרתית בפריז והמשיך בלימודי אמנות גרפית בניו יורק ב-1971. כתלמידם של האמנים האיקוניים מרסל יאנקו ואביגדור סטימצקי, פיתח מלכה סגנון מובחן המגשר בין המסורת האירופית לבין המודרניזם הישראלי.
