Ori Reisman (1924–1991): A towering and highly influential figure in Israeli modern art, born in Kibbutz Tel Yosef and a long-time member of Kibbutz Kabri.
Education: Studied under Yitzhak Frenkel in Tel Aviv and later completed his artistic training at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris during the early 1950s.
Artistic Style: Associated with the "New Horizons" (Ofakim Hadashim) generation but developed a strictly independent visual language. He is celebrated for his unique lyrical reduction, translating human forms and local Israeli landscapes into minimalist, saturated flat color fields.
Legacy: His works are highly coveted by collectors and have been featured in major retrospective exhibitions, notably at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Mishkan Museum of Art in Ein Harod.
