About the Artwork:
This powerful original Tibetan woodblock print depicts Guru Senge Dradok (The Lion's Roar). He is one of the eight wrathful manifestations of Padmasambhava. The central deity is shown surrounded by cosmic awareness flames, destroying ignorance and spiritual obstacles. Surrounding him are his three legendary disciples performing miracles: moving through stone, consuming rock, and floating in a riverbed. Above sits a lineage master guiding the scene from a cloud mandala. Hand-pressed using traditional monastic pearwood blocks on fibrous rice paper. A rare and highly spiritual collector's item for Himalayan art connoisseurs.
